WHAT TO EXPECT
Step 1: When you contact Sprout, we will ask a few questions to make sure Sprout is a good fit for you and your family.
Step 2: We'll schedule a 2 - 3 hour intake interview and assessment. Your child will need to be present for the assessment. The practitioner will then write a proposed treatment plan and send it to your insurance company for approval. This can take a few weeks.
Step 3: Therapy begins! Your team will be comprised of one analyst - a Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) or a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - and one or more Behavior Technicians (BTs). The analyst's job is to analyze data, write programs, train BTs in specific techniques that should be used for your child, update assessments, create learning materials, and monitor your child's progress. You will not see your analyst in every session. BTs will implement 1:1 therapy using ABA techniques and strategies within the framework of the treatment plan the analyst has written. As parents, you will also be an integral part of the team and will be expected to participate in treatment goals and decisions.

*ABA is designed to be an intensive treatment. A typical client receives between 10 and 40 hours of ABA / week depending on their skills and deficits.
